ZnayQuest ("we", "us") is a game-based practice tool for tutors and students. This policy explains what we collect and why. We keep data collection to a minimum and we do not sell personal data.

What we collect

• Tutor account: a login you choose (a nickname — we do not require your email or real name) and password material. Passwords are hashed; a data key protecting your notes is encrypted in your browser and cannot be read by us.
• Usage of the game: practice events (a question was answered, correct or not, and the topic) tied to a student profile you create. We do not collect student real names or contact details.
• Traffic attribution: non-personal marketing parameters (e.g. UTM source/campaign) to understand which channels bring visitors.
• Support chat: if you message us through the site chat widget, we store those messages to reply.
• Technical data: standard request data (IP, user agent) used for security and rate-limiting.

How we use it

• To provide the service: run the game, show tutors their students' progress and mistakes.
• To operate a free trial and, for paying tutors, manage subscription access.
• To improve the product and understand which marketing channels work (aggregated).
• To respond to support requests.

Social media and third parties

We publish our own promotional videos to social platforms (such as Instagram, YouTube and TikTok) through their official APIs, using accounts we own. This publishing does not involve your data as a tutor or student. When we use a platform's API we act within that platform's terms.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with infrastructure providers needed to run the service (hosting/database) and only as required to operate it, or where required by law.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your tutor account from the dashboard, which removes your account data. Suppression and legal-compliance records may be kept as required.

Children

ZnayQuest is a tool used by tutors and teachers with their students. Tutors create student profiles without collecting the child's personal identifiers; we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
